The Bennett Family
 
 
 
 A descendant of the Bennett Family has allowed me to present this wonderful collection of portraits.. These are of interest because of the era from which the photos came, the high quality of the images and also because a number of the family members were firefighters and are shown in their uniforms. The family homestead visible in one of the photos still exists near Sherbrook, Quebec, Canada. A few of the portraits are taken from Tintype images, which were produced on very thin pieces of steel, know as tin at that time. It is hoped that some who discover this site might be related to this family and be able to contribute additional information.
